Summer - Candidates must start between May/June.
How long are internships?
The standard internship is normally between 10-12 weeks and requires that the intern be available 40 hours per week.

Who is eligible to apply?
Current undergraduates (upperclassmen), Masters, and PhD students can apply; applicants must be enrolled in a program that allows college/university credit to be granted in exchange for internship hours. Chosen interns will be solely responsible for gathering requirements and paperwork necessary from their school for the internship-for-credit process.
What majors does Virgin Hyperloop One hire?
Engineering: Electrical, Mechanical, Software, Computer Science, Aerospace, Civil, Material Science, Physics, etc.
Corporate Services: Business, Finance, Accounting, HR, Legal, Marketing, Communications, etc.
Are the internships paid?
No, internships will be unpaid & must be coordinated with a school program for credit.
Does Virgin Hyperloop One assist in relocating the interns?
Relocation assistance will not be offered.
Does Virgin Hyperloop One sponsor international students?
As long as the student is enrolled in a US-based college or university program that allows them to earn school credit in exchange for internship hours, they are eligible to be an intern through our program.
What is the intern interview process like?
Applicants with strong resumes may be contacted for a Talent Operations phone screen, technical phone screen and/or a Skype technical presentation.
We do not invite intern candidates on-site to interview.
Do interns typically receive full time offers upon completing their degree?
Dependent on qualifications, performance, headcount, and business needs, Virgin Hyperloop One foresees the need to continue to hire new graduates.
What are the preferred qualifications to work at Virgin Hyperloop One?
Engineering: Hands on experience designing, building, testing through collegiate engineering competitions, prior internships, personal projects or tinkering.
Corporate Services: Prior internship and/or leadership experience.
What types of engineering collegiate competitions would you recommend I get involved with?
Formula SAE, Baja SAE, SAE Aero Design, SAE Supermileage, Solar Car, RoboSub, CubeSat, RoboCup, Hackathons, Design-Build-Fly, Robotics, Student Steel Bridge, etc.
