This is the third major event celebrating our 35 semifinalists around the world, including Vision for India and Vision for America.
Hyperloop One is gathering right now at the Tobacco Theater in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, with our Global Challenge semifinalists, judges, governments, and stakeholders to discuss ground-breaking partnerships to build a Hyperloop in Europe. With 9 proposed routes, the six European and three UK routes could connect 75 million people, 44 cities, and 10 countries. (Read more about the semifinalists and the Global Challenge.)
Europe is a great potential for Hyperloop One networks, boasting innovative transportation programs, strong and forward-thinking regulatory regimes and the strictest safety standards. A European Hyperloop One Proof of Operations facility would allow Hyperloop One and transport regulators to work together to optimize our system, prove it is safe for passenger and cargo use, and establish the standards for the first new mode of transport in 100 years.
